Hello and thank you for your interest in me as your photographer. I am extremely passionate about what I do, and I hope you can see this from viewing my images. I am a professional Lifestyle photographer specialising in Weddings and Portraits. I capture natural but refined moments in a relaxed and stylish way, always looking for the perfect available light. I love emotive, natural photography and want you to feel as though you could be in a magazine when looking at your images and give you something a little bit more.

I have always been obsessed with displaying photographs and making personal albums. Always the friend and family member with the camera that everyone relied on to document parties and outings. Photography was always something I enjoyed and because of this, I initially never thought it could be my career. My strengths always fell with the Arts at school and this lead me onto Drama School where I gained a First BA Hons in Acting. Little did I know that the skills I learnt would lead me into a photography career and be beneficial towards it. Drama School made me a stronger, confident person prepared to adapt to many kinds of people, which is what I do every day with photography. I am able to make people feel comfortable and know how to direct from the skills I have learnt. I decided to merge both my passions by photographing actors, and the jigsaw puzzle started to fall into place; but it wasn’t until I was asked by a friend to photograph a wedding that I truly found my purpose behind the camera.

Since then, I haven’t looked back. I am completely self taught, other than a session of mentoring at the start of my career, but as my business has grown, I have learnt something new every time I shoot. Along with online workshops I have also modelled on photography training days so I understand how it feels to be in front of the camera as yourself, rather than someone else in my case; so I can be relatable when I am photographing you. You could study photography all your life but I think you need something more to be a successful photographer. Having had very little training I truly believe my people skills, passion and above all, my eye for the light and love is what has blossomed my business.

Another piece of the jigsaw is that my brother Rob is a filmmaker, so we work together, whether that’s when he is making a beautiful wedding film or my second shooter. We have a strong work and personal relationship which means we know how to work together and get the best out of each other, resulting in better footage for both stills and film.

I pinch myself every day as I can’t believe I have turned my personal passion into my ‘job’ and I feel grateful I get to call it that. I have been fortunate to photograph beautiful weddings all over the UK and abroad as well as being featured on prestigious wedding blogs and magazines, such as Rock my Wedding, Vogue and Wedding Ideas. Whether I am capturing the expression on the face of a new husband, the emotion between families being together or the spontaneity of childhood; it’s an example of why I do what I do, and I feel privileged that I get to photograph people on these special moments in their lives.

Photography is art and that is what I want to create for you. If you care about artistic imagery, think my style suits you perfectly and ultimately you feel that we would get along – get in touch, and together we can create something special.
